Martin Collins Enterprises announces sponsorship agreement with Lingfield Park Racecourse
15/03/2017 13:02:00

Martin Collins Enterprises the world’s leading manufacturer of wax coated racing surfaces, are celebrating their long-standing relationship with Lingfield Park Racecourse, by supporting them with a sponsorship deal.

Lingfield Park made history in 1989 by becoming the first UK racecourse to race on a synthetic surface. In 2001 Martin Collins totally rebuilt the race track and installed, what was at the time, a totally unique and ground-breaking, technical wax coated racing surface, Polytrack.

The original Polytrack surface served Lingfield Park for over a decade before it was reinstated again in 2012. Martin Collins’ sponsorship of the Lingfield Park racecourse sees prominent branding track side with highly visible banners together with branding around the horse-box car park, saddling boxes and pre-parade ring.

‘We are delighted to welcome Martin Collins – a name synonymous with Lingfield Park’s all-weather track – as a new sponsor,’ commented Andrew Perkins, Executive Director.

Our relationship with Martin Collins stretches back many years and we are particularly pleased to expand this going forward.  There will be few people in the racing industry who don’t know the Martin Collins brand and its global reach when it comes to providing racetracks.

“Lingfield Park is a fantastic racecourse and we have been a part of their history, so it is fitting to be able to support the race course further. Trainers know the importance of running horses on quality surfaces, therefore we want to be at the forefront of their minds when they visit Lingfield Park.”  Martin Collins
