All about the equestrian arenas at Windsor

The Show’s Castle Arena is one of the largest equestrian arenas in the world, and will this year stage all the main celebrations to mark Her Majesty’s 90th Birthday – including the Oman Royal Cavalry musical ride.

This 6,500m₂ main arena has a purpose built drainage system and is surfaced with ECOTRACK, a specialist equine surface combining silica sand, synthetic fibres and a wax coating. This formula provides a safe durable riding surface that mimics the characteristics of turf and will ensure play in all weathers for the horses and participants. In addition, Martin Collins has also installed the warm up arenas and Adelaide showing arenas on The Ground.

Equine surfaces advice from the experts

Martin Collins is the official equine surfaces supplier to the Event and its trade stand is located in its usual position adjacent to the collecting ring.  Its expert team will be on hand on the stand to answer any questions visitors might have about riding arena surfaces and show samples from the Martin Collins range of surfaces for all horse sports or contact us now for advice at any time.
